U.S. Department of Education Selects Ezenia for Collaboration

NASHUA, N.H., Jan. 21, 2008 — Ezenia, Inc (OTC Bulletin Board: EZEN – News), a leading provider of real-time collaboration solutions for corporate and government networks, announced today that it has received an initial order for its InfoWorkSpace (IWS) products from the US Department of Education. The order is part of the Department of Education’s External Emergency Communication System, which is being established to send emergency and non-emergency notifications, information and/or guidance to public and private state and local education agencies.

 Ezenia InfoWorkSpace (IWS) will constitute the conferencing, collaboration, and notification backbone for the new system, providing the ability to respond quickly and distribute securely classified and unclassified information within the Department of Education. InfoWorkSpace was selected for this system due to its rich collaboration and communication tool suite, ease-of-use, proven security and reliability, and its flexibility in linking to mass notification systems.
