Dane A. Donaldson Named Vice President, Customer Support Services

Nashua, NH, December 1, 2005 – Ezenia! Inc. (OTCBB: EZEN.OB), a leading market provider of secure real-time collaboration solutions for government networks and eGovernment, announced today that Dane A. Donaldson has rejoined the company as Vice President, Customer Support Services, reporting directly to Khoa Nguyen, Ezenia Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Donaldson brings to Ezenia over 25 years of global services experience spanning many industries including integrated support solutions for complex Unix and Windows environments, collaborative communications solutions (voice, video, web and data) for Internet Service Providers (ISPs), telecommunications carriers, Regional Bell Operation Companies (RBOCs) and global communications companies, third party service, and computer manufacturing.

Prior to rejoining Ezenia, from May 2002 to July 2005, Mr. Donaldson was President of JustSolutions Inc., a start-up IT consulting company helping clients to leverage enabling technology to deliver better customer satisfaction and business results. From April 2000 to May 2002, he was Senior Vice President of Operations at Akibia Inc. Mr. Donaldson also served as Vice President of Worldwide Customer Support and Services at VideoServer from January 1998 to March 2000 and Vice President of Worldwide Maintenance Services at PictureTel Corp from 1993 to 1997. Earlier in his career, Mr. Donaldson also served as Director of Field Operations at Motorola/Codex and held numerous positions of increasing responsibility at Philips Electronics Instruments, Prime Computer and Honeywell Information Systems. Mr. Donaldson also served in the United States Army from August 1967 to September 1970.
