The successfull candidate for this position will test software releases and patches in Windows and Solaris environments. To peform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. The candidate will be asked to do the following:
* Conduct tests of new software releases, and software patches as assigned.
* Conduct tests of third party software updates as assigned.
* Verify the content of changes to customer facing documentation.
* Update exsisting test cases as required.
* Write test cases for new functionality as assigned.
Requirements
The candidate must meet the following requirements:
* 1-3 Years prior experience in a similar or related position.
* B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred.
* Strong communication, organization and multi-task abilities.
* Advanced computer skills, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills are required.
* Experience with Oracle and system administration is desired.
* Ability to produce quality work in a consistent and timely manner.
* Ability to document procedures and issues clearly.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks, as well as part of a team.
